Floating Point Group is on a mission to make trading digital currencies as effortless as traditional equities. By abstracting away the complexity of interfacing with hundreds of different trading venues while simultaneously pooling liquidity from across these venues, FPG's services enable hedge funds, asset managers, and institutional investors to participate in these nascent markets with unprecedented confidence and efficiency. With digital currency trading volume routinely breaching $100 billion in 24hr trading volume, the need for robust trading infrastructure is more salient than ever. We offer our clients the first consolidated product for ingesting data, achieving best execution, and automated trade settlement in the cryptocurrency markets.

We're looking to fill the role of Sales with a person who has a superb track record of executing SaaS API sales & knows the digital asset industry well. You will play a central role in engineering our sales process for scale, as well as establishing and strengthening key relationships with customers and business partners that will turn into long term recurring revenue. Your mandate will be to expand our market share in our current verticals as well as set up a world-class sales process as our company grows.

What you’ll be doing.

  • Engineer a world-class sales process for a world-class product

    We are a rapidly growing team composed mostly of technologists. We have a world-class product, but have yet to design a complementary world-class sales process. The customers we have love us, but we want to study why, and find ways to deliver this same experience to others. You'll work hand in hand with our sales and executive teams to engineer and document a sales process that we will use to scale the company 100x.

  • Execute an ambitious go-to-market strategy that will immediately impact our bottom line

    You'll work hand-in-hand with the executive suite, our Sales & Trading team, and the product team to deliver a high-demand product to a myriad of customer archetypes.

  • Work with a talented, ambitious, and creative team

    You'll be collaborating both with our current highly diverse team of highly-motivated (and insatiably curious) builders as well as enjoying full access to our advisors, whose prolific careers at some of the world’s premier tech organizations and financial institutions have cemented them as invaluable resources to FPG.

  • Learn and grow at a breakneck pace as our company rapidly scales

    As an early team member, you will have an incredible degree of autonomy, it's something we intentionally build into our workflow. We expect that you not only take ownership of your work but that you have an appetite for doing so. As our team continues to grow, your responsibilities will inevitably follow suit - the organization is expected to double in size in the next three to six months.

Who you are.

  • You've executed API or SaaS sales processes

    You will be re-engineering our sales process, so we need a clear vision of what the new process will look like. You have worked in sales and seen a GREAT sales process been executed, and are excited to be part of building that from the ground up.

  • You are a champion of the customer & you know them

    You can walk into Goldman or Pantera Capital and see friendly faces. You will stop at nothing to work with them, and please business partners and customers. You are their champion within the organization - ensuring their product and timeline needs are heard and met. You strive to create the closest, warmest relationship between them, you, and the organization as a whole.

  • You close and prove it.

    You love sales because it means helping people. You don't just stop after the first call or first meeting, you execute from 0 to 100 and close the deals you start.

  • You’ve worked on a high-velocity team

    You understand how to make sense of a rapidly growing and changing environment, product, and team. Your ability to adopt and grow has distinguished you previously in your career.

  • You see sales as a science

    SQL, Churn, Yield, and mapping the sales process get you jazzed. You see sales not as a dark art of talking to people, but as a science that has predictability and method to it. You can explain that method and you are looking for partners who see it the way you do.
